Welcome to the White House on Beach Hill
As you approach the front gate, leaving the boardwalk behind, our tall white house rises above the greenery — a bright, welcoming first glimpse of your time in the Pines.
In the back, a large private deck is framed by lush gardens and tall bamboo, creating a secluded haven around the heated pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, cabana, loungers, and grill — with plenty of outdoor space to lounge and enjoy.
Inside, the open kitchen, living, and dining areas make it comfortable for a fun group to cook, eat, and relax together. A 60-inch television and upgraded sound system make the great room perfect for movie nights, pre-games, and impromptu dance sessions.
Each of the four air-conditioned bedrooms opens into an outdoor area — the pool deck or the upstairs sun deck — and comes with a small desk, for those working-from-home hours. Verizon FIOS Wi-Fi keeps the whole house connected.
Two airy and oversized bathrooms, on the ground floor and upstairs, have large mirrors and rain showers — for those days you'd rather not shower outside.
And when you do leave the house, the harbor is just five minutes away, and the beach is right at the end of Beach Hill Walk.

The Heart of the West Side
Set on the Bay side and the West side of the Pines, the White House on Beach Hill is close to Whyte Hall, the Pines Club, Carrington House, and on a boardwalk with direct beach access — near the center of community life while still feeling tucked away. Cherry Grove is less than a 15-minute walk along the beach or the Judy Garland Memorial Pathway (a.k.a. the Meat Rack).
When you set up by the ocean near the Beach Hill access, hopefully enjoying the chairs, umbrellas and towels provided, the White House is less than five minutes away for a drink, a change, or a bathroom break.
Tea, the Pavilion, the Pines Pantry, and the ferry are about a five-minute walk via Bay Walk or Fire Island Boulevard. As you leave the house, you may take Midway Walk to stroll past some of the Pines' most beautiful gardens on the way to the Blue Whale.
Not that we don't love the East side too! Unlike the actual White House, the East Wing of the Pines is doing just fine.
But come stay with us and enjoy being at the West side, Best side!
